2026–2027 Tuition Information

Tuition for Scott County Catholic Schools is based on the program level your student is attending.

K-8: $6,930 for parish supported* families and $8,930 for non-parish supported families.

9-12: $8,148 for parish supported* families and $10,279 for non-parish supported families.

Please note there is a $150 registration fee each year.

*Parish Supported: These are parishioners registered at supporting parishes. A parishioner is someone who:

• Participates regularly (weekly) in the most important aspect of parish life, namely Sunday and Holy Day liturgies.
• Is involved in the life and activity of the parish, giving time and talent to the parish and school.
• Has officially stepped forward and named her/his parish community by registering at that parish.
• Realizes the need to be a financially contributing and active member of the parish.

We estimate the true cost to educate each student is $11,400 and are grateful to donors and local parishes for helping to bridge the gap!

Education Savings Accounts (ESAs)

Parents who choose to enroll their eligible children in one of Iowa’s accredited nonpublic schools will receive an amount equal to the per pupil funding allocated to public school districts for the same budget school year. For the 2026-27 school year, the amount will be $8,148. Funds are held in an education savings account (ESA) to be used for tuition, fees, and other eligible qualified education expenses. In order for families to receive the full ESA amount, they must apply between April 16th to June 30, 2026.

• K-8 parish supported families will have their full tuition amount covered by the ESA.
• K-8 non-parish supported families with ESA will have to pay $782 ($8,930-$8,148) out of pocket for tuition.
• 9-12 parish supported families will have their full tuition amount covered by the ESA.
• 9-12 non-parish supported families with ESA will have to pay $2,131 ($10,279-$8,148) out of pocket for tuition.

How To Apply for an ESA

Returning Applicants: Parents with an existing Odyssey portal will log in to the existing account to begin the application for the 2026-27 school year. See the Tips for Returning Families here. 

New Applicants: Families who are applying for the first time must complete the following steps:

1. Complete the application here 
2. Once approved, log in and select your student’s school from the drop-down menu.
3. Log in again to approve the tuition amount your school invoiced through your child’s ESA.

(Reminder: Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the second semester)
